September 2013 – Staff Training Refresher Course

Today was a great day for our mid-wales staff having their monthly staff meeting and get together. Staff meetings are held on a monthly basis, so that we can plan for the future and update care plans and risk assessments.

We would like to make a warm welcome to Alexander Battine who has joined Spectrum Healthcare. Alexander will be the new office administration manager at our new branch in England.

We welcome ten new staff to the company and again thank Francis for all his hard work in training the staff for their new roles.

April 2013

Congratulations to Nathan Jones on his new position as senior care assistant, we wish him well in his new role.



March 2013

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome George Powney, Lynsett, Sarah Smith, Tania Smith and Gwen Dorrington and not forgetting Louisa Sham and John Bradley to the support team. We wish them all well with their future employment within Spectrum Healthcare – thank you Frank for another successful training week.

Two new Senior Care Assistants

After over a year’s service with Spectrum Healthcare we would like to congratulate Malcolm Lindsay and Lavinia Clare. Both senior care assistants will lead the 1.1 support teams based in newport and abergavenney.



New Enrolments

We would like to wish Mark Ackerman, Lavinia Clare, Nathan Jones and Rachel Davies good luck on their new QCF Diploma Health and Social Care Level 3 course.

Spectrum Healthcare Training Facility

Spectrum Healthcare is soon to open the training facility based at their office in Tredegar. All mandatory care certificates will be open to the public for their future development. The training department is currently providing training in several nursing homes in the gwent area.

Emma Young

On a sad note, Emma Young our longest serving support worker has relocated to her roots in Scotland due to family issues. We wish emma well with whatever she decides to do.

 





February 2013 – St Johns House

St Johns House is to open and has vacancies for service users, please view our sheltered housing page. Other sheltered housing projects are under way and a further six vacancies will be available soon at our farm facility in the near future.
Thank you to Frank Morris for inducting and training six more staff. We wish Michelle, John, Jonathan, Nathan, Sarah and Trevor well with their future at Spectrum Healthcare.

External training contracts have now been set up within some of our clients nursing homes. Thank you to Frank for all his hard work.
