Darren Pomphrey - CEO/ Responsible Individual/ Director
Darren Pomphrey has been in the nursing and care sector for some 22 years. Darren began his career as a Care Assistant and worked up to Senior Care Assistant in several nursing homes in Bristol. Later Darren was appointed Registered Manager for a Bristol care home. Darren went on to study a DipHe in Mental Health Nursing and following went back as a Registered Care Manager in several learning disability units.
It was here Darren wanted to improve the care sector and the vision began, uplifting his care staff with good education and inspiring individuals to put the service users at the heart of everything they do. Darren opened a former care agency called Pulse Care Services back in 2008 which was re-branded a year later into Spectrum Healthcare, with the idea of caring and supporting service users on the Autistic Spectrum, hence where the name Spectrum Healthcare was founded. Over the years the company started to expand into different areas of nursing and care and after successful growth the company now expands throughout Wales and the West of England as a leading healthcare provider. The company expanded from an initial recruitment agency to a provider with departments servicing NHS trusts, private nursing homes, care at home and disability units for adults with complex needs. Spectrum Healthcare continues to improve care services throughout the country in line with the "Regulation of Inspection of the Social Care Wales act 2016".
Jill Williams - Registered Care Manager (Domiciliary)
Jill has worked in numerous domiciliary care settings over a period of thirty years and has managed several services throughout the country. Her vast experience has enabled her to educate staff and monitor their performance and mentor staff up to a high standard so they can deliver excellent care provision. Jill holds QCF Level 2 in Social Care, Level 3 in Promoting Independence, Level 4 in Management and Level 5 ILM Diploma. Jill also obtained the A1 Assessor award in training.
Alison Jarrett-Parker - Senior Nurse Governance
Alison Jarrett-Parker has over 28 years of experience in nursing, working in the Health Service, and 17 years working within a care-home setting, 14 of which were in the role of Registered Manger. Alison is a Registered General Nurse (RGN), a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN), and has obtained the following qualifications: English National Board (ENB) 998, Diploma in Management Studies, Senior Manager Awards 30 credits at Masters Degree Level, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Registered Manager Award Level 4, Qualifications & Credit Framework (QCF) Diploma Adult Care Services Level 5.
Julie Lively - Clinical Lead
Julie Lively is a Registered General Nurse specialist practitioner (SPQ) and obtained a BSc in Community Health studies (District Nursing). Julie was previously Team manager for the Local Health Board for ten years in a locality area. Julie qualified as a State Enrolled Nurse in 1980 and then converted to RGN level 1 in 2000. Since then Julie has been successful in promotions and her last Health Board position was a Band 7 District Nursing Team Manager. Julie also held a mentorship course in assisting and training student nurses. Julie also holds a QCF level 5 and is registered with Social Care Wales.
Kathy O'Leary - Nursing Agency Manager
Kathy manages staff throughout the country to include the South West of England. In 2007, Kathy began her own counselling company which was very successful. Kathy joined Spectrum Healthcare in 2009 as manager for our agency. Kathy has previously studied qualifications in Counselling and Theology from the Maryvale Institute in Birmingham. Currently Kathy has a large staff team which service the hospitals, community care and private nursing homes.

Suzy Harris - Care Manager (Domiciliary)
Emma Pinney - Care Manager (Domiciliary)
Emma has worked in care since 2001, starting out working in nursing homes as a Care Assistant, where she started studying for her NVQ Level 2. She then moved into Community Mental Health, where she progressed onto her NVQ Level 3. She then moved into hospitals, and worked as a Band 2 Care Assistant, whilst studying a foundation degree in Community Health and Wellbeing. She eventually became a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner. Emma then joined Spectrum as a trainee Care Manager, and is now working towards her NVQ Level 4.
Anita Hill - Care Manager (Domiciliary)
Anita started her journey in care in 2012. She joined Spectrum Healthcare working in care homes and then transferred to Spectrum Healthcare Domiciliary Care. Anita has gained QCF levels 2 and 3 and Level 5 in Care Management and progressed to become a Domiciliary Care Manager.
Kelly Riley - Care Co-ordinator (Agency)
Kelly joined Spectrum in 2013 when she started working in our main office. She progressed to working as a care co-ordinator for our Agency team.
Kelly holds QCF Levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care as well as Business Administration.
Kay Fuller - Reception/Administration
Kay started in the recruitment sector as a recruitment consultant. She then moved to Spectrum Healthcare where she worked as care co-ordinator placing staff in care homes and the community. Now, Kay has taken on the role as a receptionist and administrator in the office.
